LEVIGATED:
|
This is a style of texture where the shine is removed to make it look matte and it is possible to select
among several luster levels. Such surfaces are very plain, but also porous, therefore they have to be
protected with specific sealers such as the Penetrating Sealer from STONEGUARD. Colors with this kind of
finish are less brisk than when polished.

POLISHED:
|
It is a shiny surface which wears out with time, more often soft materials, due to traffic and to incorrect maintenance procedures. The
reflection of the polished crystals brings up luminous colors and the grain of the natural stone. Brightness is the result of the
natural reflection of the stone's crystals, not of a coating with chemical products.

FLAMED:
|
It is an extremely rough surface obtained with the application of high temperatures, which causes
superficial crystals to rupture. This treatment results in a very porous surface and demands care with a
specific sealer.

ANTICATO:
|
It is a slightly rough surface obtained by using small pieces of marble and granite on its face to give
the stone an old and worn appearance. It sometimes requires care with some product to enhance its color.

BUSH HAMMERED:
|
This type of rough surface is obtained by striking it with a hammer or another object. The roughness
level can be selected.
